Fanuc Corporation Ge Fanuc Block 115VAC/125VDC Analog Current Source 4 Inputs / 2 Outputs - Fanuc Corporation - IC660BBA104

The GE Fanuc IC660BBA106 is a Current-source analog input and output block. This block has a total of Six (6) circuits, composed of Four (4) 4-20 mA input channels and Two (2) 4-20 mA output channels. It is externally powered by a 115VAC external supply voltage with individually isolated input channels.

Information About IC660BBA104

The IC660BBA104 is a is a Current-source combination I/O block featuring Six (6) input circuits that is comprised of Four (4) analog input channels capable of receiving 4-20 mA signals and Two (2) output channels that deliver 4-20 mA signals. Additionally, this module has group to group isolation, block to block isolation and individual channel isolation of the input channels, rated 1500 V.

The IC660BBA104 input channels specifically feature an accuracy of 0.1% of full scale reading at 25 Degree Celsius, resolution of 1 µA, user configurable conversion time of 16.6ms to 400ms and overrange capacity of 0 mA to 25 mA. Each of the input channels are designed with individual diagnostics such as Under / Overrange, High /Low Alarm, and Open Wire detection.

The IC660BBA104 output channels have an accuracy of 0.15% of full scale reading with resolution of 6 µA. Each channel has a typical update frequency of 6ms to 8ms with overrange capacity of 0-24 mA. Similar to the input channels, each of the output channels are capable of internal diagnostics such as Underrange, Overrange, and Feedback error.

The IC660BBA104 is externally powered by an nominal input supply of 115 VAC. It has a physical measurement of 8.83” (22.44cm) x 3.34” (8.48cm) x 3.91” (9.93cm) and weighs 4 lbs. (1.8 kg). This block I/O module requires mounting to an enclosure that offer adequate protection to this device. This block I/O supports right side up and upside down mounting and must be provided with Two (2) inches clearance on all side to promote adequate air flow for natural cooling.

The GE IC660BBA104 current source I/O block has 1500 Volts of block to block isolation for 1 minute, 1500 Volts RMS of group to group isolation, and 1500 Volts RMS of input channel to channel isolation. It is compatible with PCIM modules, QBIM modules, and all GE Genius bus controllers. It has a programmable conversion time to combine the level of noise rejection with the resolution of the input. The users can select a longer conversion time to increase the input resolution. The independent output circuits are isolated from all the other circuits within the block. The output channels use dual 12-bit digital to analog converters while controlling the current in the 0 to 24 milliamps range independently. The IC660BBA104 current source I/O block can be easily configured with a handheld monitor by entering the device number/serial bus address and the reference number. Make sure to connect a 75 Ohms resistor across the Serial 1 and 2 terminals when the block is configured offline.
